Thanksgiving
I chose these 3 photos because they all displayed thankgiving in differnt ways rather than just close ups of food.
For the first photo, I wanted the texture of the pie to be very visible so I turned up clarity and contrast and whites while lowing the blacks. It also appears to have a shallow depth of field just enough so the pie stands out more rather than having the bright color of the table take main focus. For the second photo, it looked very warm in temperature so I turned that down. My goal for this photo was to create an orange and warmer colour scheme where all aspects are similar and give the feeling of thanksgiving and October. For the third photo, it depicts the table set up at my grandparent's house before Thanksgiving. I took this photo in the hopes to create a linear vision down to the end of the table. I turned up the exposure, contrast, whites, and blacks because the photo was very monotone and flat beforehand.
